Responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team of 80+ engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
Build organizational capabilities and succession strength by developing strong technical leaders and managers.
Recruit, onboard, and coach team members to ensure alignment with organizational goals and values.
Project Delivery & Operational Excellence
Plan, resource, and oversee the execution of engineering deliverables for large, complex industrial projects.
Ensure high-quality, technically accurate engineering drawings and documentation within defined cost and time parameters.
Drive on-time delivery (OTD) and project cost efficiency through effective process management and optimization.
Streamline operations by developing tools, templates, and systems that improve productivity and consistency.
Champion quality assurance by enforcing rigorous engineering standards and continuous process improvements.
Corporate Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely with global engineering offices, EPC partners, and cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Finance, R&D, and HR.
Act as a key business partner within the India entity, contributing to corporate decision-making, policy development, and community engagement initiatives.
Participate in strategic planning, including facility management, employee engagement, and local leadership initiatives.
Navigate the dynamics of a matrixed multinational organization, maintaining clear communication and alignment across global teams and leadership levels.
Performance & Business Accountability
Establish performance metrics to track efficiency, delivery, and cost goals.
Oversee financial aspects of engineering operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Ensure strong alignment between engineering output and organizational strategic priorities.
Qualifications:

10+ years of engineering leadership experience, ideally within industrial manufacturing, EPC, or process design environments.

Demonstrated success in leading diverse, cross-functional teams across international geographies.

Experience managing large-scale industrial engineering projects and delivering within complex, matrixed organizations.

Strong proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, project management platforms, and analytical tools.

Deep understanding of engineering documentation, cost optimization, and project governance in EPC contexts.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering disciplines.
